Superior Thermal Services, LLC is a Texas-based electrical infrared inspection and reliability services company serving critical infrastructure, industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities.

We help customers identify electrical problems before they become equipment failures, safety hazards, service interruptions, or costly downtime.

Founded in 2022, Superior Thermal Services provides electrical infrared inspections, NFPA 70B maintenance program support, and thermography consulting for utilities, substations, water and wastewater facilities, healthcare organizations, senior living communities, industrial facilities, and commercial properties.

Experience and Qualifications

Superior Thermal Services is led by Scott Givan, a Level III Master Thermographer with more than 20 years of electrical industry experience.

Scott’s background includes high-voltage electrical work, utility and power-sector environments, construction, maintenance, testing, and field reliability work. This experience allows Superior Thermal Services to approach infrared inspections with both a thermography and electrical systems perspective.

Our goal is to provide more than thermal images. We help customers understand what the findings mean, why they matter, and how they can support safer and more reliable electrical maintenance decisions.

What We Do

Superior Thermal Services performs professional infrared inspections on electrical and mechanical assets while equipment is operating under load. These inspections can help identify abnormal heat patterns caused by loose connections, overloaded components, failing terminations, deteriorating equipment, and other developing issues.

Common inspection areas include switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, distribution equipment, panelboards, breakers, substation equipment, critical power systems, motors, pumps, and other critical electrical infrastructure.

We also support customers with NFPA 70B-based maintenance programs by providing clear inspection documentation, organized findings, and practical reporting that can be used as part of an ongoing electrical maintenance strategy.
